Composed to emphasize the virtuosity and the lyricism of each soloist, Giovanni Mirabassi’s music combines harmonic rigour with clearness of melodies. His play is meticulous, nimble and technical at the same time. In reference, critics cite Kenny Barron, Enrico Pieranunzi, Ahmad Djamal, Keith Jarrett...
